I first bought a 1991 bronco for 600 bucks when i was sixteen, it had been sitting for five years. Guy just wanted money for the brand new tires on it. wrecked it a few months later. after putting brand new rear diff in it.... and redoing the whole interior. Had 2500 in the bronco when all was said and done..My dad bought my truck(1992 f150 xlt 235k miles) a year ago for 1250$. (nice Christmas present). about 700 in it now. Ironically the tires from the bronco are on my truck.. I wouldnt sell my truck for less than 3.5k, its got 245k miles but i have the bronco as a parts truck.

Paid $6,000 for it 5-6 years ago by my grandparents and I just inherited it in august and I already have a couple grand in it. But where I want this truck to be at I will have $20k+ in it by the time I'm done it just has way too much sentimental value to it that I don't care how much money I put into because I will keep it forever.

What it looked like when I got it

And now

My '95 was given to me in '98. I've got maybe a grand in it including tires purchased about 8 years ago. I've bought used tires on the front when I had an alignment issue, but the rear tires are still there with 116K miles on them. They don't even make my rear tires anymore. Lol. It could use a paint job, but has zero rust. It needs a shifter bushing, but works when I don't get in a hurry. I've been offered $2500 cash. That won't even touch another 9th gen around here in the same or better shape. I had a 70 year old guy try to trade me even swap about 3 months ago for a '79 4x4, fully restored, red over silver paint with brand new leather interior, duals, 33's sitting on brand new mag wheels and the catch was, he had brand new 460 in it. He said he loves the truck and bought it new, but couldn't afford the gas anymore. He loved the fact that the body is straight with no rust and my 300 runs like new. I couldn't part with my truck. If not for the fact that I drive anywhere from 40 to 100 miles to work, I would have jumped on it. If I thought I could sell it quick and make enough to buy a nicer 9th gen, I would have, but I just didn't know if I could turn the 460 around quick enough for enough money. He's been by the ambulance house twice since then asking for me. I'm afraid I might give in, but I just can't afford the gas. There's too many lifted 4x4's sitting around my area that aren't selling because of the economy. I just can't bring myself to take the chance. I love my truck and wouldn't even consider a new one with a lifetime warranty. The KKB price is like $700 and that's just insane!

My 90 has been in my family since '92 and I've been through it and pulled it apart and fixed it, and cursed it, and damn near lost my mind trying to figure out the silly electrical gremlins that plague the old girl...

Sell it? NEVER!

Parts... 3000
