I knew better; Ford didn't do it so why did I think I should do it? I'm putting a 460 into my 1987 F 150. It's in there and bolted in. But it's presently at the 2 steps forward 3 steps back stage. It's a long convaluted story but I had a very good 19,500 mile motorhome engine and transmission fall into my lap. I had a good running 300 I6 4spd in my 87 F150. Couldn't leave well enough alone. So here I am, a sickly 61 year old in bad shape and my best friend a 66 year old street rodder in pretty bad shape as well and we knew we could make it work.. It's been one thing after another but we're slowly getting it done. Not a lot of money gone into but we're at the stage that money will be spent on the finishing touches.

Sounds like a project for sure but should be great when finished! Post some pics when you can so we can see and good luck with build!
