Default Hard Shifts... I know

Hey guys, been slinking around the forums for a while, now I have come across a problem.

1993 F150 Ext. Cab 4X4, 5.8L E4OD.

I have got hard shifts from 1st to 2nd Almost Always.
Hard shifts throughout the rest of the gears very randomly it seems. Highway shifts are also harder than they should be.

I can seem to force it to shift nice, but I am taking off slower than ANYONE Ive ever known. My 93 year old grandma said it seems like Im driving slow. I haven't pulled codes, but I am thinking from my reading that the culprit seems to be the MLPS. I have read that there is a way to "Adjust" this. Could anyone tell me how to do this, or is the better option to pull codes, and replace any sensors as needed?

EDIT: Pulled Codes
KOEO: 111, 111 (repeated of course)
CM: 634, 634 (repeated of course)
634: Transmission Manual Lever Position Sensor circuit out of self test

What does this mean for me?

Thank you in advance.

search "mlps" there have been a few posts on here about adjusting them, i know there are 2 lines that have to line up perfectly or it wont shift properly.

Thank you for the advice!

For others looking to clear this issue, it was suggested that I just clear the codes. So I cleared out the continuous memory codes and Viola! Problem solved. Thanks for the help again (All of you since I have read posts from MANY people through searching!)
