Default Hard shift and jumpy speedo - 94 E4OD

Ford reman transmission.
My 94 4x4
This truck had sat for some time.
Speedometer is jumpy at higher speeds and I sometimes had a hard 1-2 shift and engagement. It was frequent but not constant.
After some research I changed the sensor in the rear axle. That was a few days ago but it still did it.
Yesterday and today it's all just fine. I also bought a "Speed Sensor" from AZ but I literally cannot find one on trans or transfer case.
Only other difference is it's rainy and humid.
A speedometer video I found said to change the sensor in the axle was why I started there.
Did the computer just take a little while to reset?
Not code lights either.

Stop changing parts. Return both - they're not doing you any good. Stay out of the zone - their parts are garbage anyway. Click these & read the captions:

went through this problem with my 1994 f150 i put speed sensor in, it help little on 1st to 2nd gear change. My trans was acting crazy when it got warm up slipping in out of gear, speedometer jumping at speeds over 50 mph. I tired tried everything finally went to junk yard got a speedometer cluster that fix everything.
