Default Hard cranking still

Got some good advice, cleaned the gfround and battery posts and cables and it started with no problem. I checked the battery voltage engine off (12.82v) and running (14.55v) so I assume the alternator is functional. After I drove it for a while and got it hot, it wouldn't crank more than twice really hard. I'm thinking maybe starter? If it is would any of you buy a rebuilt starter? I know rebuilt alternators are a bad idea. Any suggestions?

Reman electrical parts are a bad idea. Especially starters and alternators unless you like changing them every 6 months.
