Default Half a lift

Ok so now i have a Question.

i put 3/4ton leafs under the rear. Lifted the truck up quite a bit. now this leaves the front end at stock. Making it look like a dragster. I upgraded it to F250 Coil Springs and 3/4ton Quad shocks in the front. didnt help. Now after measuring alot i found that the front is 6" diff from the rear. Can i just put 6" Lift Coil Springs in the front ot raise it up? I know if i jack the truck up on the frame to were its about level the tires are still on the ground and seem fine. Wondering if i will need any other parts besides the coil springs?

if your lifting the front 6" with just coils, your ttb will have a sciccor effect goin on. lol. IF you still have TTB that is... youll need drop down brackets, brake lines, etc. etc.

Hmmm, i dont think i will need Brake Lines. like i said i have had the truck sitting at the level it should be at and everything seemed fine. the tires may have a little uneven ware... but thats the worse i can think of. they seemed to sit flat on the ground. and i did notice the shocks where extended all the way out.

You should get longer shocks to cover the new height. They sell longer shocks on JCWhitney.com and they come in different lift-height sizes, like 2", 4", 6", etc. You could also try getting an alignment so the tires don't wear the outside edges too fast.

yeah, and extended brake lines.... rough country, as well as every other shock company, "requires extended brake lines with 6" lift."

p.s. its worth the money to buy the parts and do it the right way.

The brake lines may work while on the jack, but it is a different story when you lift it up that high and then get the suspension moving. Jack it up and then imagine the suspension moving and contorting a few more inches, which it will during regular driving conditions. Going airborn over RR tracks or some bumpies is not a good time to find out that your brakelines were too short. It is nice to be able to stop.

well if you need 6" to level it off, you might need a full kit...

your steering, whole suspension, tire wear, pinion angle, and everything else will be way off. youll spend more in replacing parts than you will with a full kit.
