If my axle code is H9, then what size rearend and frontend do I have? And whats the gear ratio?

 

dana 44 front 8.8 rear 3.55 gears with a limited slip in the rear

 

what front end does my 97 f250 have?

 

what axle code? i think its a dana 60 not 100% sure though

 

39 i believe it has a "50" stamped on the back of the housing on the front axle, i dont know if that means anything. i wana say it means dana 50 but i have no experience with these 4x4 front ends.

EDIT: found some threads finally, its a dana 50 front end, and i already knew i had the 10.25 rear end.

 

Yah mine has a 44 stamped on the back of the front housing. Ive been lookin for a parts truck with an h9 axel code

 

f250's either have a HDdana44(small hubs) or a dana 50 (big hubs) i'm not sure what year it was but one of those years they stopped making the HD 44 and only put in the 50. I do know that by 97 all they had in them were the dana 50.
