Default grrrrrrrrr problem with hub/spindle!

long story short i blew up a wheel bearing, distroyed spindle and warn lock in hub. replaced all and now when i go to put the new warn hubs in the back end of them brings up on the spindle! I need at least another 1/8" or more to get it in far enough to put big lock ring on. i took it all apart and all bearing races are seated in hub fine. it seems as if the hub/rotor assembly is going to far on the spindle? i dont friggen get it! the trucks a 96 xl and the spindle i bot used is a 95 but i measured every grove and all seems the same as my old one...this just dont make since. anyone got any help?

Bearings and spindle should be basically the same, from 80-96, sounds like something is not seated right. Is the rear seal in all the way?

problem solved...the spindle from the scrap yard was SUPPOSE To be a 95...which is the same from 94-95-96. but infact it was pre 94 and was deeper. i happened to have a hub from an old 89 here which had the same spindle measurements as the pre 94. put it all together and now works fine!

When i gets a chance i am going to pick up a pre 94 spindle with 5 bolt holes to have for the other side. ford doesnt make the spindle anymore for 95-96 trucks and finding a hub/spindle used here is almost impossible. alot easier to find a scrapped pre 94... and for anyone interested check this out... http://www.supermotors.net/registry/media/728442_1 big thanks to Steve83!!
