How have you guys made it around opening the hoods, did you relocate the latch or is there another way to go about it?

I used really thin mesh for my grill, which didnt look that good, so i wound up buying another sheet of black mesh that i put behind the mesh and it really made it look better

here are some pics of my old car
I welded a rod that goes down below the grill to open the hood. Works great!

Yep. I'm using the rubber letters that I cut out to replace the ones on the tailgate. To tie the truck together ya know.

I was going for something similar to the raptor but I had to use what I already had or could get cheap lol and as far as the hood release goes I've done nothing YET but I plan on eliminating the latch completely and using hood pins instead. For the time being I'll just use a screwdriver to poke through if I need to open her up lol

And looks good. You don't see people make custom grilles for cars very often

I'm sorry I know everyone wanted mockups to see how it all looks on the truck but it's going on tomorrow. I'll post pictures as soon as it's on. It'll look out of place until I paint the headlights bezels

Awesome can hardly wait to see it, and I am sure it will look fine!

I have already picked out new "blacked out" headlights and tail lights (same page below the headlights), http://www.topgearautosport.com/part...ake_Light.html

AND got my black 16X8 Ultra "Rogue" rims with 31X10.50X16 General Grabber2 tires delivered today! (just have to level the front end out with F250 springs to be able to put them on without rubbing lol)

I want to do all the trim in black and possibly add this strip? http://www.ebay.com/itm/SURGE-Ford-F...875107?vxp=mtr

Undecided on the strip though... anyways, I still need to find blacked out front marker/blinker lights, Black F150 emblems and lettering for the tail gate and decide if I should paint my bumpers black or keep them grey or possibly white... decisions, decisions lol.

Think I'll call it project "Zebra"! lol

No clue yet lol, I am just trying to get my ducks in a row so to speak for now, looking and researching etc. After Christmas I am budgeting so I have about $300.00 a month to spend to start getting all this "stuff" lol. Any suggestions, better pricing or home made remedies for anything I intend to do are more than welcome !!

Once I get the F250 Springs in the next few weeks, Ill start a Project Zebra thread lol.

That's the most badass grille I've seen. I'm building one now. Metal yard and junkyard here I come.
