Default Gear ratios

ok lets hear gear ratios, mpg, engine, and rpms in final running gear on average

1996 I6 2.73 gear ratio 5th gear average 60mph turning 1500 rpm getting 21 mpg.....changed to 3.55 gear ratio turning 2000 rpm at 55 mph bad idea gonna change back to 2.73

96 302 4 speed auto with overdrive 3.55 gears, 4th at 55 and around 1900-2100 rpms 17-19 mpg

wow...96' 351W 4speed auto with overdrive 3.55 gears; at around 1900-2100, I'm doing 70 MPH. I do have 31" tires not sure if that makes a difference

I know it does...lol. But if anything it would make my speed indicate much slower than normal.

ill have to check again tomorrow when im going hunting, i may be wrong lol.

95 I6 3.08 rear 20 highway no clue on rpm dont have a tach

302 with an AODE transmission with a shift kit wide ratio. 3.73 rear end up to 22 hwy and up to 18 city

I've got the 3.27 ratio, gets 16 mpg highway, 80 mph at just below 2000 rpm's. I'm thinking to switch over to 3.73, had 4.10 for a while but it rev limited me at 82 mph. Funnny thing is the 4.10's got 17 mpg highway, go figure.

alright, 1650 rpms at 55 mph. 3,55 gears non limited slip 4 speed auto w/OD 5.0/302.
