i went to the superchips home page and it didn't have my year? are there other chips for my application. thanks dixie,

I dont have a 302 but try a cold air intake and a throtle body spacer. it helped me, 4.6 2000 pick up.

throttle body spacer?!? yeah go ahead and waste your money on one of those!

there not going to have a chip for your model. thats why i said you'd have to go to a superchips dealer with a dyno, so they can custom tune you one. Key word there is custom, its made specificly for your truck and the mods you have done to it.

i must have just read to fast, ok well i'm going to go over to the local dealer and see what they can do. do you know if i have to get a "custom" chip or if they could possibly just reprogram the stock computer so i just have one setting? just was wondering. but i like the chip cause i can switch from a gas mileage setting to a towing or etc setting.

if it was me, i would the chip so you can be able to change your settings.

in my long post thats in there too, but there around $400 usually, well worth it though in my opinion.

i don't know if i would want to drop that much into my truck in that area. i found some shorty headers on summit for around 130 and some long tube for 175. i know they increase hp but i'm more curious on how they effect my gas mileage.

Were in Utah do you live? I am up by logan. One way to help is drop the tire size. I had 33's on mine and went to 31's it is helping quite a bit.
