Gas gauge problem
I have recently bought a 93 f150. The guy I bought it from said he had jsut put a gas pump in it, in doing so the gas gauge now reads full all the time,
He mentioned something about having put somethin in upside down, and this cause the problem, and said he just had not felt the need to fix.
I would like to drop the tank and fix this, and right side up what he got upside down.
I do not want to start this project without having atleast soem type of knowlege as to what I am looking for and or how to right this pump, or gas gauge.
I have searched the how tos forums but nothing there, can anyone post what I am to do and how to fix.
I am pretty good with mechanics, I just took off my throttle body and cleaned it, it now will idel in park.
Thanks
