Default Fule issue

I’ve got a 1995 f150xlt 5.8L that I Kant figure out what is wrong with the fule system… it was starting and running great up until I got everything put back together after changing a Lwr ball joint on the pside got in the truck to start’rup to test drive but I didn’t hear my pump prime when I turned the key so I started with the obvious stuff testing fuses/relays all in which we’re operational I lookt to see if the inertia switch had tripped somehow and the red button was down like it should be I checkt continuity in the tank selection switch in my dash and it beebed on my multi meter so after all that I bought and replaced the fule pump reassembled everything turned the key to test it and once again I only hear my relay klick but the pump is not priming any help would be appreciated

Check for leaky or bulged out electrolytic capacitors in the ECM. A wiring issue going back to the fuel pump is another possibility.
