Default Fuel trims

Is there anyone here that could tell me what the normal longterm fuel trim is at idle on a 5.8?

There is no "normal" for just a 5.8. This applies to all. Ideal would be zero. If you get up to +/- 3 that would be very good. A code may set around +/- 7 for a length of time.. I would be more concerned with long term trims, not the short ones. Long term is every driving condition factered in, not just idle.

There is no "normal", and there are a few thousand LTFTs for your engine right now. Even just at idle, there are a few hundred. Click this & scroll down to that entry:
