Default fuel system

i have a 1995 ford f150.shes been running really boggy the last few days. barely getting up so speed at a dead stop my dad took it for a drive and he thinks it has to be ether the fuel pump or something like that. almost every morning it has a hard time starting and sometimes it almost dies in idle.

Pull codes, test fuel pressure on the fuel rails, get a voltmeter and ensure proper voltage of ignition coil, fuel pump relay wires, wires at pump, probably a few more places I can't think of right now. Without being there personally anything anyone says right now is a guess. Could be anything from a failing pip sensor or ignition coil, to fuel pump or filter, to bad dist rotor. Start with pulling codes and checking pressure/voltage. Then work each code individually, starting with the fuel/ignition related ones. Doing too much at one time can be worse than doing nothing at all.

Could be something real simple, it's definitely worthwhile to read the codes. A faulty o2 sensor can feel like a bad fuel pump as a f'rinstance. Sean posted how to pull codes with a jumper wire at the top of this page. That will work on your 95. Just follow the directions, you can run it 10 times in a row if you have to until you're sure of the codes.
Then you can look them up and they will tell you where to start looking.
Much, much cheaper that way
