Question Fuel pump problems

I have a 1995 F-150 xlt 4x4 and I just changed the fuel pump out but yet the fuel pressure is still low. It takes a few tries before the truck will start up. Any idea what could be wrong?

Try pulling the vacuum hose on the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail with the engine running, if raw fuel comes out of the line or the fuel pressure won't increase you may have a bad regulator

True dat both... Guys need to learn to go with simple crap first, you know, run the traps a little bit. I always felt that to use this forum was only as an absolute LAST RESORT..

We just had a 3 page thread where the guys truck wouldnt start. Said he rebuilt the engine 5k miles before. He went as far as replacing the ECU for the start problem. Turned out to be spark plugs.

End of rant.... Hijack over....
