Talking Fuel pump Options?

Hey guys!

SO, Things have worked to the point, I need a new fuel pump. and I would prefer not shelling out 280-320 for a motorcraft fuel pump. Is there any good alternatives? I hear Bosch is good, But I wanna see it from others, before I take a leap..

Depends on the year, the for generation 8 trucks, I really like the Carter; USA made better fuel sender than the OE, quality parts and workmanship @ about 1/2 the price of the Motorcraft. The Gen 9 trucks where it is all sealed up in a plastic module, the field is a little more open, Carter still acceptable, Denso, Delphi, Bosch I'd avoid Spectra & any others that don't just plug into the stock wiring harness.

I have a 1996 f150, 4.9-5sp, I installed 2 Delphi's. Seems to be doing well.
