Easiest way to do it is pull the bed off. After that its very straight forward. Remove fuel hoses and computer from sending unit, remove the lock ring ( usually a good idea to replace lock ring upon installation. Only a few bucks at parts store) remove fuel pump from tank. Assemble new one exactly like the one you removed. Put the black rubber ring down tht comes with new pump ( be sure to clean dirt and debris from around hole) set new pump inside tank making sure the rubber ring is still inplace. Put new lock ring on and tap with into place with your flat head and hammer. Put hoses back on, rehook the computer on the sending unig and you should be good to go! Good luck! It sounds harder than it is really. Very easy to do
