Default fuel problem!?!?!

Hello everyone.
Ok I just bought a 1995 f150 ext cab v6 4.9, it started when I drove away with it but the next day it wouldnt start so I hit it with ether to make sure engine was good....it started....and stayed running, but I have to spray it everytime I want to start it. Ive seen other post like mine and it boils down to tps(checked out) icm, pcm, or check fuel pressure(witch I did but I never removed line from fpr to see if it goes up properly witch ill do tomorrow) anyways im here for some insight on if anyone has had this issues personally, helped fix this issue or can help me with more ideas cuz I dont wanna sit here throwing money on all these new parts to find out it was much more simple thanks in andvance all input is helpful,
Wenzel

well your main issue is the engine its an Inline 6 not a V6. and i would guess its a spark issue might be time for new plugs and wires. wouldnt hurt much to put new ones on. then check the cap and rotor could use one of those as well. it seems like its not getting enough spark to cold start. if you leave it running and warmed up to running temp. turn it off and i want to say it will start right up after. its a spark issue.

Plugs, wires, cap, and fuel filter are brand new, and yes if its warmed up it will start after being turned off, but only a few minutes after if I wait about 20 minutes, back to the starter fluid. I have a question tho if I was checking fuel pressure should it be reading anything in key on engine off position or when cranking??? Thanks

Pull codes and run these tests to check if it is a spark issue.

koeo there should be fuel pressure built up I want to say 25-30psi at the rail but dont quote me on that, and what about the coil? that could be warn out and weak. if you can drive it after starting odds are fuels probably not the issue if it runs fine once its started. usually when an engines struggling to start up its not getting spark.
