Default Fuel issues need help now

hey whats up im new to the site i have a 94 150 xlt etnd cab with a 5.0 302 and ok so i went bowling and on my way there i was on my front tank which was pretty much empty ok so after i was dont bowling i go to start my truck it starts then acts like it was outa gas and stalledwhich the front tank probly was so i went to switch to my rear tank and the switch seemed hard to push and didnt want to go to the rear tank so i tryed starting it again but i got nothing and now i dont hear the pump priming on either tank i think its the switch but i donno i kinda need help asap so any help would be appreciated

I'd say if the switch was hard to push, then you forced it and now have nothing, it's probably the switch.

+1 on the switch - you can pull the dash panel and hotwire past the switch to verify.

I assume the 94 is similar to my 91 - on mine, you need to pull the headlight and wiper *****, and the little dash panel will pry off with a screwdriver and a gentle touch.

Is your switch on the left side of the wheel in the same panel where the headlight and wiper switches are?

That's where it is on my '95. Has to be the same on the '94.

yeah um just to let you know my wiper switch is on my steering wheel colum so i didnt have to worry about that its just the lights and the fuel tank switchbut i just took of the trim on the panel and took 2 screws out then it KINDA slid rite out ya i didnt think of taking the trim off earlier but after that i replaced the switch and turned the key and my pump primed so its all good thanks for the help guys
