fuel filters

Default fuel filters

do i need any specal tools because the fittings are strange how do i replace it

you will need a good fuel line removal tool the scissor ones are ok but the cheap ones will snap and you might want a tray to catch the gas that will come out of the line it is about 1/8th of a gallon or so and that's like 1.50!

Some have plastic retainers on them also.

I just yank my filter out of both lines. Bought a new filter and new metal retainers from autozone in the help section

you can damage the lines doing that and might get some metal shavings into the injectors or carb.
