94 F 150 4x4 Super Cab. I'm trying to get the filter off it's got some kind of strange fittings on the lines. Apparently I need a special tool. The lines have a clip over the fittings which comes right off. I can't see how any tool will release the inner keeper. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

Go buy the tool...it comes with directions.

slides inside the outer coupling, push in, pull line out. will probably take some jiggling and tugging (mine did), but it'll come out.

 

they are right the tool is pretty expensive for what it is too. dont get frustrated it is possible
