Default Fuel filter change

Hey everyone I have a 93 xl 4.9 and I need to change the fuel filter. I have read about the special tool needed to accomplish this task but my question is, what size is needed? They have 4 different sizes unless you buy the entire kit which I don't need. Any help would be appreciated.

Plastic 3/8" tool is the best option. Its like 5$ for all the sizes in one kit.

Called Autozone and they have a metal kit with 4 sizes for $20. Advance have individual ones for $7 provided you know which one ypu need. But you say it's 3/8 ?

You can do it with the metal ones but its harder to get a good grip on the fuel line and filter when trying to get them apart.
