I've changed my crankshaft seal twice and it still drips, I've even bought the seal that comes with the sleeve I was wondering am I doing something wrong or is there something to worry about

When I put in my new engine obviously I installed a new seal but mine drips as well. New harmonic balancer too

Double check the crank snout for any imperfections. Also, the most common issue is a grooved balancer. I would recommend replacing it if you can hang a fingernail on it. I have never had good results with the repair sleeves for either front or rear seals. On a side note, last year I had the same issue with with a front seal leaking on a 302. I replaced the front seal and harmonic balancer (grooved), however, the owner returned several weeks later with it leaking again. The first time I replaced balancer and seal I noticed the timing cover/gasket appeared somewhat new. I questioned the owner the second time about any previous repairs and he mentioned that he bought the truck used. Well, I removed the timing cover and found that PO had replaced the cover and the 2 timing cover alignment dowels were missing (dowels were probably left in the old cover) and, as a result, the cover was not aligned. Replaced dowels and another seal and never had another problem.

You could use grease but there is a product called Sil Glide that works flawlessly. It also has many other automotive uses.
