Default front end shaking problems

I have a 1995 f150 4x4 supercab, 302 and auto. When I apply the brakes there's always a small amount of shaking but 2-3 times a week, it gets VERY bad. The faster I go the worse. The steering wheel and brake pedal both shake when it gets really bad. Sometimes even when I'm just rolling at about 50 MPH (not braking or accelerating) it shakes until I give it gas then it stops. Could it be my rotors are warped or something else? My brake pads still have about 30-50% tread left so its not that. And also sometimes it feels like the brakes are sticking or something because it has something holding it back (usually happens when its cold). So does anyone have any idea what it could be?

Sounds like you might have a few different issues. First I would start with the brakes make sure nothing in the front is hung up jack it up make sure the front tires spin freely if they don't a hung up brake will definitely cause a shake. Since you say the steering wheel is shaking its definitely in the front end. If the brakes are not hung up then take a run out gauge and check the rotors make sure there is no warping going on. We need to do some diagnoses before we will know what exactly is the iissue.

I just bought new brakes and rotors for it and I'm putting them on Saturday. If that doesn't fix it then my next guess would be the calipers are sticking.

Make sure to check the balance on the tires as well.

the front brake hose brackets rust and pinch of brake fluid return! pry them open alittle and slide them around to remove rust! wow truck goes faster and front stops shaking. I think this is a serious problem ford should make everyone aware of!
