i back up my 1994 ford F150 4X4 in my icy drive way not realizing i shift to 4X4 and not locked. i went for errand and i did not go further as my truck stopped in the middle of road. i shift to drive position but the truck won't go. with help of stranger he suggested to put in manual and try to shift to 4X4 hi it work and i was able to go however i heard this thug noise everytime i make a left and right turn. did i damage my front axle for not locking 4x4 hub. your help is appreciated.

 

you didnt lock 1 or yu didnt lock either of them you mean?

 

both hub was not lock it seems that both tires is boucning when i make a left turn or right turn then you heard this thug noise. thx
