Default FORD problem?

maybe someone can lend a hand. once again my first ford, and first pickup. so hopefully someone can pin-point the problem before they finish the post.

before buying, the battery light would turn on from a bump or something. it would go off from another bump or sometimes stay on, but would always go back off.
so im driving no problem and the voltage starts bouncing down to 10 and back up. few days later it dropped to 8 and the battery was dead. changed the battery. rode for a day and same story. changed alt. same story. when the car is running the battery drops slowly and doesnt charge. car off battery holds fine.
checked starter wires, alt. wires, any loose grounds or bad wires, fusible links at pass. fender, etc.

last conclusion is either ignition switch or faulty alt plug in. but the battery light does not illuminate anymore on the dash.

i know someone with ford experience can help! been without my truck a week almost!

Check to condition or the cluster of wires connected to the Alternator. they've been known to fuse together (and worse).
