Default Flowmaster 40 or 44

Looking for some advice. I live in a state that requires emmission testing so I need to keep my two cats. I have a 1995 5.8L that I am going to do a Flowmaster CAT back SIDO system. I want to make sure that I get the aggressive sound so with the CATS in the equasion, should I do the 40 or the 44?

I am also planning to install a K&N intake in the near future as well.

any and all comments welcome.

I ran both on my 150 with both cats. I liked the 44 better. But i didn't have a tail pipe. I liked the sound better with out it

The 44's are a little bit more aggressive sounding than the 40's. I think you'll be happiest with the 44's.
