Default Flow Direction?

Hello, I bought this fuel pump and there is no direction of flow. Can some one tell me so I can get this girl running. Thanks. Jim

It should be embossed into the metal housing, or debossed on the plastic end with the electrical terminals. But GENERALLY: flow is toward those terminals. Put a hose on one nipple, dip it in some gas, point the other nipple back into the same container, and power it up. If it blows bubbles, you have the hose on the outlet; if it sprays, you have it on the inlet. Don't run it more than a couple seconds blowing air - it'll overheat & burn out.

Thanks Steve. I have never found a fuel pump or filter without markings. Jim
