I have a '91 F150 with the 5.0 liter and bought it new. This week it did not want to start after I had driven it a short distance. I smelled a slight odor of gas and it acted like it was flooded. Sure enough, I held the gas pedal to the floor and it finally started. After it sits awhile, it starts okay. My trouble code shows 118, or ECT sensor as bad. I'm going to change it today, but I don't think this is the problem. Anyone else had this problem? How do you check the fuel regulator? Thanks.
