OP, I shadowed a Welder/Fabricator around here who has a '88 350 with a flat bed. Looks sweet!

And if you want a rough idea, photoshop a early 90s front onto a mid 90s truck. The rest of the things are identical

Still a good looking rig! Is the black trim on your cab rhino liner or??? I like that looks very clean.. Is it around the front bumper too?

Is your truck a 4x4? If so adding some bigger wider tires will fill it out at the back cause that deck looks like it came from a dually and is wide! I have built decks for 1/2 ton trucks before
And because of the lighter truck you can build a lighter deck. I made one the width of the cab and 8 foot 6 long with a smaller sportier looking headache rack and it looked awesome! Wish I still had those pics!

Yes sir.. I plan on adding 33's or 35's accompanied by a 3-4 inch lift.. Upgraded springs, shocks, etc... Again these are all "idea's" for the moment.. Nothing set in stone yet..

Here in Wyoming flat bed conversions are fairly popular and we have weld shops that will make them up for you.

I was just looking up new and used Stake beds for F series trucks. Wow even used ones are expensive.

For a whole lot less money you can get the equipment to build your own. First thing is to purchase a nice MIG welder. You can get a Lincoln, Miller, or Hobart that you can use with,or without inert gas for about 500 dollars. and the stuff to go with it welding leathers, gloves, helmet etc. A plasma cutter would be nice but a O/A cutting torch will work too. With this you can collect the steel and make your own, to your exact specifications. You will end up with a nice welding outfit that you will find endless uses for. You could make up your truck to look like something worthy of the Road Warrior, now that would be way cool!
