Exclamation flat steer

My 94 extended cap flareside seems to have real bad flat steer and i was wondering if you guys had this problem and how you fixed it.

When i'm driving instead of it being _ i have the steering wheel tilted like this \ to keep it straight. it needs to be like that in order to turn the wheel at all and is unresponsive untill i get it to the \ angle.

There is one tire that is barely bigger than the other 3 because that was the only tire the store had in stock that would fit. it had the issue before i changed my balljoint and it still has it.

Any help would be great because it is a pain to drive and it isn't as fun as driving a responisve vehicle.

Im going to say that different tire is your culprit. The extra play in the steering wheel could be slack in the column, box, or idler arm, or any other loose steering component.

if there is some slack in it what would you suggest doing to correct the issue? I haven't touched the steering system in any vehicle yet so for now they're a mystery to me aside from a very very basic comprehension on they function.

You are mostly looking for loose componentry or worn parts. I would replace the tire before anything, as theres a good chance that will damage the truck further.
