Anyone know of where I can get a tailgate for a 95 Flareside? I've searched with 0 luck..

 

They don't make reproductions - not enough call I guess. Only option is one from a truck being parted. I guess that's why yours was gone.

 

probably. All I know is that the flare sides have crap tie downs and they need tailgates. Haha

 

I agree with this. I haul my 10 foot kayak in the bed of mine and have to tie ropes from each back tie down around to the end of the kayak, then put a wooden block on the kayak to make it taller, and THEN ratchet strap that down... Why couldn't they just do a normal set of tie downs like every other truck...

 

Found one in Ohio.. Now just gotta get the gas and the money.. Red too. Haha

 

So I got looking more and asked for a picture and it is NOT a flare side.. I found another one in Iowa. $175 shipped and is red. I guess the math calculator is going to be put to work..
