Well I figured I'd post this to maybe get ideas. I'm getting back onto a volunteer fire department after being out of it a few years and was hoping I could get some pics of light setups on 90s fords as I can't decide how to set it up. So if you have any pics post them up.

I went through all the light installing early on when I was a vollie. Now I have none and can get everywhere just as fast as the guys running lights. Not worth the money IMO unless your required by law to have something.

Before you do anything though, find out what your state will allow you to do... Few guys down here in my neck of the woods were getting in trouble for not following the rules.

Round me we havta have 360 view and siren and must be seen and heard from 500ft. Also lights must be red but red may be accompanied by white. When I was on last time running lights and siren would cut my response time down 3 minutes as wen running lights and siren we're aloud to run 10 over nd pass through red lights (but with due regard of course because I'm no use if I don't make it to the call)

I've seen those ... They're really not bright enough to be seen during the day. When i get my lights they'll all be top name lights.I'm just wondering how others have placed them on these body style trucks as I saw a thread about this on here but it was all newer body trucks.

Here's a really good series of videos on how to. Not specific to our truck, but still good vid.
