Default F150 engine changes

Hey Guy's,
New here and I need your help, please
I purchased a 96 F150 4wd 5 speed w/o engine and part of the wiring harness. The truck originally had a 351W. My ??? is what years of the FI are the same, and is the wiring harness different from 2wd and 4wd. Any help will be appreciated
Thanks Rick

I think since the 96 is obd 2 then you will need a harness out of a 96, But i could be way off

You will need the harness from the 96, if it is mass air, but you are replacing the motor with a 96, if the upper manifolds are the same, you can use the same harness, No difference between 4x2 or 4x4, engines are the same, The only thing is the computer might be calibrated different between a 351 and 302.
