F150 Air conditioner questions
Hello,
I just purchased my first F150. It's an 88'. Where is the ac low pressure port?
I would like to recharge the freon. Also, how do I know if my AC system has been converted to the r134? The truck is great and well maintained so hopefully the previous owners kept up with this.

Just did some research and hopefully answered my own question. Im thinking about going with the RED TEK R12a Refrigerant as many people seem to like it. Anything to consider when doing this?

You might already know, but flush your system thoroughly (especially the condenser) and replace the orifice. This will go a long ways. Denatured alcohol or A/C flush and plenty of patience.
