Nothing at all wrong with asking questions. Trust me, every question you've asked is one I've been intending to ask.

Headers wont necessarily make it louder, mufflers definitely will, also putting the mufflers closer to the headers will.

You could always just run straight pipe from the headers out.... your neighbors would really love you then. I recommend firing it up around 6am on Saturday.

And dump the exhaust before the rear wheels.

Look up 'Purple Hornies' I plan on putting those after my headers when I get around to doing so on my 150.

Go with a larger tip/tail pipe. If you run 2.5 inch true duals out the back get something like 4 inch dia tractor stacks about 20 inches long and use them as tail pipes. I run 3.5 in tips about 18in long both out on the passenger side infront of the rear tire. with my passenger window down your not talking to anyone.

Well I run true duals 2 1/4" with no cats and 18" glasspacks all the way out the back and angled with 3 1/2"x18" tips. I know it doesnt sound like itd be the loudest, but everyone says its the loudest and deepest 302 theyve ever heard. They usually guess its atleast a 351.
