It will be time in the near future to replace a worn out exhaust. I recently added a K&N FIPK because the airbox was cracked. I don't think it adds any power but the throttle response is a lot better. Anyway, I figure if I have to replace the exhaust anyway (cat back) I might as well put something "performance" on. It needs to be quiet when cruising but should sound OK under accel. So the question is: What should I get?

1996, F-150, 4.9L 2WD.

there are SOOO many options its rediculous. i'd say flowmaster, but NGM would disagree. just depends on what your looking for.

 

 

yeah, every muffler has its good points and bad points, just some more than others.
