Default Engine will not start

OK, I'm new here but have posted my problem, but don't know if I'm doing anything right...so here is attempt #2.
I have a 1990 Ford F150, 4.9 engine. It used to be my brothers and now it is my problem. He took out all the fuel injectors to have them cleaned, never got it done, and the fuel injectors got lost.So I purchased some refurbished injectors and put them in. It would not start. Replaced the MAP censor and idle control valve and it started and ran pretty good. I did not want to put it back on the road yet and let it sit for a couple of months.Started it and it spit and sputtered with a bunch of smoke. Called my brother and he said he had drained all the gas...wrong, he forgot the front gas tank. I dropped both gas tanks and drained them both, put in two cans of sea foam, and new gas. Now, it will not start at all. I have tried the fuel relay by pass test, the fuel pump kicked in and kept pumping.I do not have a fuel pressure gauge that has a hook up for a Ford port, but pushed it in with a nail and gas sprayed all over,so gas is getting to the fuel rail.I tried to start the engine and it would not start.I also have good spark. Ok should the engine started when I bypassed the fuel relay?I have an engine code that is 96,fuel pump secondary circuit failure. If this is a current code, would the fuel pump kick in fro the bypass test? And would it keep the engine from starting? If so, how to I get rid of this problem? What else should I look for .... Thanks....

i had about the same problem a few weeks ago. my pump ran continuous and had fuel at the fuel rail and had good spark. it ended up being the computer. i took the old one out and took it to the parts store and they ordered me reman computer. i installed the new one then connected the battery ground back to battery. turned key to on and pump ran for 1-2 seconds then shut off. turned key to start and she fired up. so if you have spark and fuel at the rail and fuel pump runs continuous then its likely a bad computer.

Default computer

So far it looks like it is problems from sitting so many years. I have been using Easy Diagnosis.com and have trouble shot it so far to be the ignition control module. It also has trouble code coming up saying the throttle control position sensor is also shot. I have both on order and hoping they will be here one day this week....praying the computer is ok, so far it looks like it is doing it's job.
