that gen f 250 came with the 460 so it should fit mit have to swap the front cross member but its the same chassis so there shouldnt be much of problem

How hard would it be to swap axles? would they just "bolt On" or would you just have to go crazy on fabrication? the reason i ask is because i dont like the ttb front axle i have on my half ton, i was thinking about going to a junk yard and yanking some off like a 96 F-350 or something. also would i have to scrap the coil front suspension and go to leaf springs?

Actually, its not bull. If he lived in NY, for instance, the only motor you could swap into that vehicle would be one that originally was available in that truck. And then it would have to have all the needed emissions stuff on it too. If it never came with a 460 as an option you would be sol.
