Default engine swap

Can i swap a 302 motor and trans from a 96 f150 into a 94 f150? im not sure if it would work because the 96 is obd2 and the 94 is obd1. but im no pro.

same engine just use the wiring harness out of the 94. What engine does the 94 have in it now.

The 94 has a 302 also. would the 96 just plug right in to my 94? same connections?

It should it is the same engine. My step dad put a 96 5.0 out of a mustang in his 91 f150

if you have the wiring harnes for the obd2 i would keep obd2 cause you can get better info with it . i dont know if the connections would be different though for the plugs that go into the firewall.

The only difference might be 96-mass air 94-speed density, you might have to use the manifold that fits the harness if they are different.
