You changing out the HVAC case and using Ford parts or going aftermarket ARA stuff?
Thanks! Not quite sure yet. I've heard decent things things about 1A auto so i was thinking about buying one of their kits and and swapping every component, including the high and low side tubing. I'd rather not mess with worrying about purging the old mineral oil. Considering doing all the swapping, then letting a pro do the actual refrigerant filling. Compressed gas makes me nervous, and I'm very new to this. If you think it's well worth it to pay a bit more for oem parts I'd definitely consider that too. I may have spoke too soon about my leak. It's far far better, but I looked this morning and the fluid is a touch low in the overflow resevoir. I did replace the radiator cap last night since the rubber grommet was a little off kilter on my other one. It's the pressure release type with the red handle you pull up on. I havent driven with the new cap yet. So, hopefully it's that, or maybe im just still purging a little air from the system. But, it's progress either way, it's much better than it was before I replaced the housing and thermostat.
