the ECM may be the same but what about the programming..? or Chip in teh ECM...that will be different...and the injectors are different as well....

 

he said there all the same 302 351 460 but he did say the computer is different though

 

Same thing GM did...they used the same ECM for almost all their apps...in the late 80's thru the 90s the ECM was the same for 6 cyl and V8s only thing different was the PROM chip....same ECM though...

not really...it's called being smart...just like stand alone ECMs will fit ALL engines...think about it...

just like a PC for a car/truck

all PCs do the same thing it just depends what software you load into it that does what you want it to do...agree...?

like using Plastic dristributors that cost 300.00 to replace and probably 10.00 to make when the aluminum cost 60.00 to replace and maybe 20.00 to make...this is why I hate GM....well not just them..ALL American Auto Makers...
