Default Engine codes

I have another thread about my trucks codes. If these were resolved in the past and never cleared will they disappear on their own or do they need to be manually cleared? I ask because I dont want to spend time working on issues that arent there. Should I reset them and then see which ones come back?

KOEO and KOER codes are current, they have nothing to do with what's gone on in the past. Once you get those completely resolved (111 every time), you can clear the stored codes by removing the jumper wire while they're being reported. If they come back, you know it's something to troubleshoot.

Awesome, how long would it take for the codes to come back?

If there's still a problem? Not long. I'd give it a week and retest.
