What you are seeing in the pictures is normal. Think of the tire as the outside of a circle with the center where the axle bushing mounts the acle to the trame. Raise the center and the outside will drop. Nothing wrong with that.

As for the pulling....I had a ball joint that was sticking causing this once. I could steer fine, but I felt that slight pull to one side. I seem to remember it being more noticeable as speed increased. If they have lube fittings, lube them. If they are original, maybe it's time for a replacement set.

Thanks to all - I'm going to swat the fronts side for side and see...

While under there I noticed the tire date codes I've been looking for on the inside of the tire, ahem, 3911 unfortunately

I've got the spare tire holder bolt soaking in PB Blaster - it hasn't been off in some time
