has anyone ever herd of an egr vavle causing transmission problems feels like torque converter is engaging and disengagin will going down the road i have an 1993 f150 with e40d and 5.0 someone sad that and have and egr code

Might want to include a can of "Transtune" in your tranny fluid. Have you serviced or checked level this millennium? Does the fluid have a burnt smell, of discolored?
Aslo starting your own thread would be a good idea, as this one's a done deal!

Gidday everybody
today i've blinded off the EGR , removed all the smogpump hoses and made a package to send it all to Al Gore. More space under the hood (sparkplugs change is easy now) and a nice running engine
