Default efi to carb need help

I have a 92 f150 5.0 that I'm swapping out for a built 5.0 stroker that's carbed. Will be using msd 6al + 2 step so ignition is no prob. What I dont know is how to solve my fuel delivery issue. I'm assuming that my pump is going to override my carbs with too much fuel pressure, how do I fix this. Do I need to change my in tank pump or delete it and use the mechanical I'm the block ?

Use a low pressure regulator before the carb. This will allow you to keep the factory pumps and not over pressure the carb. Most performance shops will carry one, they are common on those who switch to a performance electrical pump to keep up with multiple carbs.

Another thing you should look at is the fuel pump feed wire, I did the swap on my old 86, when I took out the efi, the harness had the wire in it, you will need to power that wire with a 12v key operated positive, I think the wire might be 12 gauge and pink. It was on my 86. It is the feed to the tank selector switch.
