Default EEC Issues

I have been going down a long road of an install and getting my but kicked and really need some help. First of all I have a 93 F150, 5.0 and E4OD. I first put in a 94 harness and computer. Things were good. I just got done putting in a new engine with gt40p heads and matching 98 explorer cam. As well I put in 24lb injectors and matching MAF. And finally Crane cams HI-6 ingition. I get everything done and take the truck out for the first run. Tweek timing and take her out on the highway. From one exit to the next was only about 2 miles and got up to 75. Ran great. Took the off-ramp and get to the first stop, truck is a little sick. Get to the second stop, even worse. Get it into the driveway the truck will barely stay driving. Played with timing and that looks good. Pulled codes and got 212, loss of IDM. Long story short I have a whole new ignition system. Truck runs rough all the time, like its not firing all cylinders. Computer kept giving me 212. Ended up finding a loose pin at the EEC fro the IDM cicuit. Find a new computer at the local u-pull and install. Truck fires up great, in fact she started blowing smoke out the back. Cleaned up after a couple of minutes. I can only figure too much fuel was being put into the engine when the other computer fried and it had carbon build up. Now it took some time to get the engine and harness this and that back together, first drive is bad. No power. I get a good shudder when driving 40-50 and at part throttle. I'm thinking I may have fried the computer again. Does the computer go into a default of opening the injectors? I heard that somewhere. If so what circuit may be frying the EEC to get it to do this? I know this may be a little to much but I am down to one rig and the wife is getting a little mad. The truck has been non-drivable for 3-weeks. I have called a couple of shops and no body really seems to want to work on my creation. Thanks for any help or direction to go

I also wanted to say that before the replacement computer I noticed that the engine does not come up to temp. Stays on the bottom of the normal arc. When I put in the replacement temp came up to normal. Right in the middle of the arc. And now, even on a 90*F day, truck will not warm up
