Is it the upper and lower EFI intake? If it is go for it, those are like 600 bucks new. Just make sure no threads are stripped. Should be a good addition.

IMHO, It's not worthless but, you wouldn't get the full advantage of it with the stock cam and heads. Ideally you would want to replace them along with the intake, not too mention the very restrictive air intake tube and throttle body. Both of which should be replaced before you go sticking an intake on it. And don't forget about exhaust, just cuz' it can breathe in more air don't mean it can get it out.

Try inhaling a lot of air with your mouth wide open and exhale through a straw! You may pass out, beware! Oh, yeah, do this about 2,000 times a minute!

thanks for the advice guys.

and definitely a GREAT way of thinking about that. i have two pipes right off the manifolds all the way back and into 12" glass packs and then about another 6" of pipe and then it dumps down right before the rear axle. id say the pipes are about 3 or 2.5 inches or so lol but i wasnt really wanting to do alot of performance to my truck, but it was cheap and still worked so i thought i ask you pros before i bought it. so thanks

(is that true duals?)

True duals are 2 pipes all the way back. No Y pipes.
