Default ECU relearning

Does the ECU in a 1995 XL with a 302 2wd relearn like the newer trucks?
If so... how many miles does it take? The reason I am asking is I replaced my IACV and I was wondering if my ECU needs to relearn it.

If your idle is high it would be recommended that you disconnect the battery for 10 minutes or so and it usually takes about 50miles or so for the computer to relearn everything. But I'm sure if you didn't disconnect the battery and drove around for some time that the ECU would make adjustments for the new IAC.
